That's basically just the kind of peeving that
objects to the use of
computers as calculators and spelling checkers.
I just gave several good reasons why large programs (well, technically,
systems) are bad. Are you saying those reasons are fallacious?

No, they are simply costs. Like all costs, the idea is not to eliminate
them tout court, but to decide whether they are worth paying for what
you get. Poverty can have a very high marginal cost.
