Fake news knocks on the doors of Unixland: there's absolutely no truth to the claim that the rm command was written by Robert Morris. Rm was there from the beginning, when only two people wrote Unix code--Thompson and Ritchie. In fact, it would have been on PDP8 Unix, which Morris never used. Doug
