There are other FreeBSD distro's like GhostBSD,etc that have an
installer like Linux. My 2c is that FreeBSD is not trying to get
people in that are newbies, it's for the server environment and it works
extremely well.
Exactly; FreeBSD is not for newbies: I'll leave Penguin/OS to that market.
Mind you, OpenBSD was a bit of a bugger; all services are off by default.
It's perfect for a firewall :-)
