Looks like pandoc will go from DocBook to Texinfo.
Me, I'd probably write a giant awk script to do the grunt work. :-)
For sophisticated material, TeXinfo is of use,
notwithstanding notions to
make everything into brief man pages.
As I've been saying, I use it for books.
