when i worked on system iii and system v, we were certainly using SCCS
(and not sublime). we had some machinery built on top of SCCS but by and large,
it was just SCCS.

Someone else will have to indicate if raw SCCS was used during the time
frame for the code you are looking at or if there was some management
system built on SCCS that was actually used.
