there are other people who might say the same thing about Unix

getting mindshare more out of luck than the fundametal

its technical architecture.
And I think there are many on this list who would contest
mightily
that Unix was "just lucky".

.... i'd certainly be interested in this list's opinion of that
piece, 30+ years later.
