I believe the Supernova was an early and faster implementation of the
regular Nova. A newer generation, still 16-bit, was called Eclipse. MV
was the ("NO MODE BIT!") 32-bit generation. Or something like that. DG
then bet on the short-lived Motorola 88000 with a series called the
AViiON ("NOVA ii"?).
