There seem to be various explanations for the above but perhaps it is
the genesis of the common “define the value of pi to be 3” idea?
I believe it was - I've heard of it before. And I run in the kind of
circles that would be likely to say "π=3.0 because JEBUS!" or
"geocentricity because JEBUS!" :/ (In fact, it took a second to realize I
was reading a TUHS post.)
I worry for humanity.
