Years ago I remember someone suggesting that freeware be renamed “Fluegelware” after
Andrew Fluegelman, a pioneer in the concept who had recently died.
I suggested we rename the C compiler “Ritchie” and the I got a “Let’s nip this in the bud”
email back from Dennis in short order.
