Talking of editors...
Once I learned Wordstar in old CP/M (before that it was mostly line
editing), and then soon, other editors that supported the Wordstar key
combinations, I got hooked on those. Joe is, to date, one of my
favorites.
Speaking of WordStar, on CP/M there was also WordMaster, lighter weight,
better as a programmer's editor. Not sure who wrote it (but istr it came
from the WordStar people?) Adding here for completeness...
My memory fu is weak but there was a small editor for CP/M that I liked
a lot. Can't remember what it was called but I stole some keybindings
from it:
map # :.,$ # does from here to the bottom
map @ :1,. @ does from top to here
Anyone remember that?
