I'm thinking of a notation like:
A => CADR (yes, I'm a LISP fan)
A' => A[0]
A'' => A[-1]
etc.
Not quite APL\360, but I guess pretty close :-)

dc(1) has 256 registers identified by a byte.
Each can be treated as a stack, stored to and loaded from with S and L.
