I must be weird: I use VI, but EMACS key bindings in my shells.
They're usually the shell default, even though POSIX doesn't specify them.
I have to say that the emacs bindings and bindable commands get the most
attention, at least in bash/readline. The vi mode bindings are mostly what
POSIX specifies plus some other useful ones from standalone vi.
