It's the best intro I know of...

Looks like the -n option reads a namelist, -b sets a breakpoint, -d
gives an execution trace.
Another way is to use simh breakpoints and step commands.
User code begins at location 4096 (010000) so if login,
escape back to simh, set the breakpoint, continue simh,
and then run the program you want to debug, you should
hit the breakpoint in the new process.
