Seriously, I think you pretty much nailed it.   It is about being respectful of everyone on the list, particularly those where were there and lived the history, it allows us all to learn from some fun memories and broaden our understanding beyond what we thought we knew as complete 'fact'.   I've enjoyed filling in tid bits I've collected along my strange journey, as well as having others clue me in on some details I did not know.     As Larry said, it really is an interesting community and think this list has helped to set the historical record straight in a couple of places that I am aware.
