V9 you say...does your setup happen to have the on-line manpages by any chance?  I don't think a surviving copy is in the TUHS archive.  V9 is a tad bit fragmentary in the archive at present from what I can tell, it may be worth seeing if anything you have fills in blanks.


Just fired it up.  The reason I put it aside was that the ie driver was set to hard panic every time it received a packet larger than 1500 bytes, and the workaround appeared straightforward but as someone from a BSD background it was not at all clear to me how to rebuild a kernel.  I have some time now that I can set aside to teach myself how that build system works, so I'm planning to revisit it soon.

Anyhow.... it does not appear to have any manpages.  My recollection is that the distribution was just source, and the manpages were not a part of that source.  It required a bootstrap from SunOS to get a working system; I don't think I have anything that is not in the TUHS archives.
