I am jealous. I feel fortunate that I got to be part of what I think
of as the good Sun, the 4.x days, to me, that felt as close to Bell Labs
as you could get in that time.

I did twist arms to be lm@sun.com and got to be lm@cs.stanford.edu, I miss
lm@sun.com a lot, so short, Unix people like short, it's "ls" not "list".
It really was the best part of my career but it is nothing like what I
imagine being at the end of an uucp email address ending up at Bell Labs.
