This is an impressively thorough review from an end-user perspective, and I am sorry that it was buried so far back in that issue of Byte!  Though I suppose this was from the era when Byte was jam-packed with informative reviews.  Did you continue to use Coherent, or do you have any thoughts on the article in hindsight?
