Is it possible to teach the skills required for systems administration? This presentation will firstly describe how ADFA teaches sysadmin as part of its undergraduate Computer Science coursework. Then, a free-for-all will ensue as we tackle the bigger issues: is teaching sysadmin worth it? is there a right way to teach sysadmin? what about the idea of certification? Audience members are asked to bring their opinions and a sense of humour to this meeting.
