Protocol Ids

DUAL can support up to 32 higher layer protocols. The following protocol ids are currently defined. A descriptive name for each address id/format is also given, starting with the prefix `PR_'. Note that not all 32 values have been `given' to protocols, nor has the packet formats for those protocols with protocol ids been defined. These packet formats will be defined in future papers.

At the time of writing, only the PR_BCAST, PR_IPand PR_CIPpacket formats and protocol definitions have been defined.
