.sh NAME
sccsdiff \*- compare two versions of an SCCS file
.sh SYNOPSIS
.bd sccsdiff
old-spec
new-spec
[ pr-args ]
sccsfile
.DT
.sh DESCRIPTION
.ad
.it Sccsdiff
compares two versions of an SCCS file
and
generates the differences between the two versions.
The
.it old-spec
is any
valid
.it get\c
(I)
specifier
(e.g., \(emr1.1)
for the old version to be gotten.
Similarly,
.it new-spec
is any valid
.it get\c
(I)
specifier
(e.g., \(emr1.4)
for the new version to be gotten.
The
.it pr-args
are any valid
.it pr\c
(I)
arguments which begin with a ``\(em'',
except for ``\(emh''
(the output of
.it sccsdiff
is piped through
.it pr\c
(I)).
Any number of SCCS files may be specified,
but the
.it old-spec
and
.it new-spec
apply to all files.
.s1
.it Sccsdiff
is a simple shell procedure;
interested persons should ``cat /usr/bin/sccsdiff''
to discover how it works.
