Hello folks.

Due to the rise of the tides and the plin of the plon, certain
things have been writted on the disk here. There are some
scripts including recently composed one by other goonfans, and
other general informations. There are even sounds, which are 
Mac sound files or Sun .au, in case you've got to go .au...

There is a program called SoX that you can get from ella.mills.edu
that will translate between .au, .snd, etc. so you can make all 
manner of computing engines sound like Milligan. There are Unix 
and MS-DOS soxes.

Please note, the files are all binary (not binhexed anymore) so
you will have to set your ftp transfer mode to binary.

The text files are all compressed with compress (.Z suffix) or
gzipped (.gz).  You may find the friendly local gunzip utility
suitable for gunzipping gzipped gune show bits. If your steam
powered system has no such utility, you may mail and ask for 
certain texts to be sent by raw ascii, send to davidj@rahul.net.

Mr Russell Street, the well known cad, has updated the yaq-yaq-
yaqaboo! file with most of the answers to all of the questions to
some of the things you always wanted to know. It is posted to
alt.fan.goons every once in awhile and a version lives here as
well. Fatang.
